Jack Hattingh : Director

Jack Hattingh is a multi-talented, award-winning director based in the United States. His awards include a national Emmy for "The Night the Rains Came", a Gold Medal at the Film & TV Festival of New York, and many others. He directed the Farm Aid concert two years in a row, and has directed and produced television concerts for many international stars, including George Strait (HDTV), The Rolling Stones, and Sting.

Hattingh has directed and shot hundreds of high-end television commercials for clients around the world. His love of his work drives him to stay abreast of the latest advances in technology, creatively shaping his approach to the specific needs of a diverse and high-profile client list.

Hattingh also directed a three-part documentary on the music and dance of the Kickapoo Indians, the worldwide broadcast of the inauguration of Bishop Desmond Tutu, and three episodes of Mary Lou Retton's Flip-Flop Shop on PBS. His latest documentary, Shiny Green Apples, a television series that focuses on children playing traditional music on acoustic instruments is currently in international distribution.
